Sunburst® Gourmet Blend is the premium companion small animal food that is loaded with natural goodness and fortified with vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Formulated as a food and treat all in one, Sunburst® Gourmet Blend for Guinea Pigs contains species appropriate dried mixed fruits, sun-cured hays, vegetables, pre-cooked legumes and much more! What you won’t find in Sunburst® are artificial flavors, preservatives and chemical colors. Instead, Sunburst® uses colors sourced from grasses, herbs and vegetables. Sunburst® is enriched with DHA omega-3 fatty acids to support the immune system. To promote digestive health, Sunburst® uses protected probiotics to ensure a higher amount of active, beneficial bacteria. Also, added Vitamin C for the level your guinea pig needs.

Feeding Guidelines:

While introducing a new food to your guinea pig, gradually mix Sunburst® with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of Sunburst® over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system. Feed your guinea pig ¼ to 1 cup of Sunburst® per day depending on the age of your pet. Complement this feeding with unlimited amounts of hay. Always regulate the food portion to maintain your pet’s weight. A pregnant or lactating female will sometimes eat 2 to 3 times as much as a normal adult. Please note, the potency of the Vitamin C in our food will decrease if not stored properly. Remove and discard uneaten food everyday and clean the bowl prior to refilling it. Always maintain fresh drinking water near your pet’s food container.
